Oceania's go to card event!
Auckland Card Show has quickly grown into the premier event for collectors, hobbyists, and trading card enthusiasts across the region. After a hugely successful debut in July 2024, the 2025 show at Auckland Showgrounds took things to the next level, cementing its place as the largest card show in Oceania.
This year’s event brought together over 90 exhibitors, from international brands like Dragon Shield and Legend Story Studios to leading local game stores and traders from across New Zealand and beyond. The show floor was packed with sports cards such as NBA and baseball, top TCGs including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, Grand Archive, and the debut of Riftbound. Collectors had the chance to browse rare and sought-after singles, sealed products, graded cards, and more.
Special attractions included the Riftbound Learn to Play area with an exclusive launch promo card, the ShowBook Challenge offering up to $50 NZD in prizes to be unlocked, and live box breaks that kept the energy high all weekend. Authorised dealers for CGC, PSA, and ACE were on-site, giving attendees the opportunity to submit cards for professional grading through trusted partners as well as Premier Card Grading on site to take submissions.
With major tournaments for Flesh and Blood, Disney Lorcana, Grand Archive, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, the competitive scene was just as exciting as the show floor. Players, collectors, and traders from all over Oceania came together, making 2025’s Auckland Card Show a landmark event for the community.
Whether you are a dedicated collector or new to the world of trading cards, Auckland Card Show is now the must-attendevent on the calendar, and 2026 promises to be even bigger.
Meet The Team
Steve Guinee
Steve started the Auckland Card Show after moving from Wales to New Zealand and discovering the strength of the local card community. His goal was to bring a US/European-style card show to the southern hemisphere, with a focus on supporting the local scene.
Matt Rogers
Matt has extensive experience in the world of cards. From a TCG player, retailer, distributor and also a co-owner of a card grading company. Matt recently joined the team to help take the vision of the show to new levels.
